Earthship house design question...?
I am interested in building an earthship style house with 10' high walls. Does anyone know how thick the reinforced concrete walls would have to be to support the weight of the berm up against it (want to do 10' berm on 3 sides of house)? I am looking for a general idea to decide if this is even feasible before paying a structural engineer to get the details of the project. Also, what if I want to support a second story made out of wood without a berm above it? Thanks.Earthship house design question...?
