Ive tried a few commercial level house design programs (free and not free) along the lines of Home Designer Suite 6, one of the Punch! house designers, etc.
But I can't believe that any of these are what architects or other professional house designers actually use. They have all been pretty useless, with huge flaws in their design and user interfaces. Seriously terrible. I could design a better looking house in The Sims. Compared with other CAD programs like Solidworks they fail terribly.
Anyway, end of my rant, do you know what is a real professional-grade house design program?Whats the best professional house design program?
Autodesk Autocad Architecture with Revit installed is probably your best solution.
But expect to pay out the yin-yang for it.
