because we were almost running out of fuel
How can we make a house design, so it will not make any energy to go off?
Check out this web page on energy efficient home design:

Also, insulated concrete forms are fantastic for low, low energy bills:

If you site your home to take advantage of passive solar and passive cooling, you will save even more. See the pages on the same website on finding land, building site, etc. ...(Lot/Land)
Hope this helps! How can we make a house design, so it will not make any energy to go off?
if you are trying to run off the grid....
i though up something for that...
look at the way a ';battery bank'; is put together. these are found in solar systems.. the way you arrange the deepcycle batteries... take that.. add two alternators from a car. hook a battery bank to each altenator. not two alts to 1 bank. the internal regulators in the alts with not work properly if they are detect a second alt. use an electric motor to power the alts. you can loop the power from the batteries back to the motor. once there is enough power in the batteries then it will run the motor. as long as you have enough batts, and have reduced the amout of power you use, you should be able to even out and not be on the grid. if you remain hooked up to the grig... when your batts are full and the motor is still running, you will back feed into the grid system and possibly a check from the power company...
basicly this is a solar system with out solar... instead replace the solar panels with an electric motor and a couple automotive alts. everything after the alts is the solar system.
i have not tested this.. just a thought on paper. did lots of research and it should work no problem to me... just depends on how much power you need to live a ';normal'; life. you could also add on to the system at any time... start with two batts, and run the waterheater and frige.... then add a couple more.. add on the washer and dryer.. and so on...
In ground home. Easy to cool, easy to heat. Southern exposure with windows on that side for light inside.
